Nedovic, Serbia roll past France 77-65

On Sunday (9/15)  The Serbians bounced back from a disappointing loss to the Ukraine days earlier by defeating perennial powerhouse, France. The Warrior rookie got the opportunity to go head to head with one of the NBA’s best in Tony Parker among multiple other French players who’ve had more than a cup of coffee in the league.

Despite the NBA experience of France, Serbia was able to pull away in the second half behind strong performances from former NBA center Nenad Kristic who’s never looked better and the Warrior rookie Nemanja Nedovic.

Warrior fans, he’s got a wetter. Nedovic showed his range by going 5-8 from three along with a viscous throw down on his way to 17 points.

Some credit must be given to Serbia’s Head Coach, Dussan Ivkovic, who has guided his team to the quarterfinals despite having the youngest team in the tournament. Marc Gasol and Spain look to knock off the Serbians and advance to the semifinals on Wednesday 9/18. The game is at 8:15 am PST and can be watched on NBA TV.
