It’s difficult losing to any division rival, especially the one’s who seem to match up well with you on both sides of the ball. The Seattle Seahawks handed it to the 49ers this past Sunday night, in Seattle, with the on slot beginning with Mother Nature putting over an hour stoppage time, as another rainy evening in Seattle threw the guest team of its course.
Enough about that unfortunate loss, what the 49ers must do in this coming week is no secret; they must absolutely blow out the Indianapolis Colts in San Francisco on Sunday. No doubt about it, the 49ers need to send a clear cut message to the league, especially their division rivals that they can bounce back from adversity, and that they are still a force to be reckoned with. A statement game, yes that is what it is called, for a reason, and the 49ers must capitalize on a struggling Colts team coming to Candlestick, making their statement loud and clear.
The 49ers are usually good at rebounding from tough games, and should look every opponent from here on out as life or death until they get the Seahawks at home December 8th. It’s not an easy task to win out until then, with a tough schedule and even tougher division, the 49ers are going to have to earn the title of top dog this season, hopefully they received their wake-up call, how nice and early it was. Lets hope injuries do not continue to haunt the 49ers down the stretch, lets hope all the pieces of the puzzle come into play in good timing to finish this season strong. Fierce competitors stay ready for the fight, and to be recognized as a true contender you must keep on fighting your way back to the top. The test for San Francisco begins Sunday at 1:25pm, with many challenges to follow.
